READ BEFORE PROCEEDING: Please, do not take this seriously. I didn’t type any of this, I just copy + pasted the content of http://gomorning.com/psp/itunespsp/ (see the bottom (source)) changed the word iTunes to Firefox and took approximately 5-10 minutes to change the iTunes pictures to make them Firefox. I know it suck maybe a lot, but I did it on purpose: iTunes 5.0 for PSP…
EDIT: Nice. After many people checked out both my website and the original Itunes 5.0 for PSP website, there were many people “complaining” about it being fake. The webmaster worked back on his page, changed the layout to a more convivial interface (which I love by the way). He put a link to here with the following comment:
I’d also like to give a special mention to this website, which took my text verbatum, and turned it into a “Firefox on PSP” page. Hilarious - I love it.
I’d like to thanks him for providing me some pictures. By the way, I like your idea (what a nice one). I’m also a design (I like to), but I’m kinda “occupied” these time, so I thought I’d just take sometime to do a small image editing (not so good as you can see), but anyway, it was worth it. I think it’s fun to see Firefox running on a PSP + it gives some advertisement to Firefox. Go Firefox!
Updated: Small FAQ now posted below main text.
First and foremost, PLEASE do not ask me any of the following: who showed me this software, how they got this software, or if I can give it to you. The first two answers are secret, the third is NO. I do not currently have a copy of this - if I did, I couldn’t be talking about it.
That said, there has been a lot of talk about Mozilla porting Firefox over to the PSP platform. Sony has been one of the sticking points when it comes to Firefox, but it seems that they would be far more interested in working with Mozilla if it benefited their own products in some way. Well, if there was a version of Firefox for PSP, and if people browse the internet directly onto their PSP, that might give the PSP more value, which would be a good thing for Sony.
I recently received a very strange offer from somebody I know - they claimed to have a copy of Firefox for PSP, and wanted to know if I would be interested in checking it out. Obviously, I thought it was a joke at first, but they insisted that they were serious. I’ve known this person for a long time, and while I still thought they were kidding around, there was enough of a chance that they weren’t that I raced over to their place.
They weren’t lying.

The Basics
The crude “intro” screen currently in place (more on that later) states that this is “Firefox for PSP,” and it indeed takes after the look of the Firefox we all know and love (or hate).
What works / what doesn’t
This is very obviously alpha software, and I’m not sure if my friend just got ahold of an older version of Firefox PSP, or if this represents the current state the project is at. However, Firefox PSP seems to read things directly from the main PSP WI-FI, and even WI-FI is turned off, Firefox PSP can run offline. We were able to visit many websites such as Mozilla and Google but since the rendering engine isn’t complete, some page got rendered REALLY wrong.

Main interface
Here’s a look at the Main interface. You’ll have the same feeling has if you were running firefox on a computer. By pressing Up, Down, Left or right, you can move the "cursor" onto the page to click on desired links or to scroll the bar. Pressing X will "click" on the link. The Left and Right shoulder buttons switch between the differents tabs you might have while you’re browsing.
FAQ
A few questions I’ve received from people who have found a way to track down means of contacting me.
That Firefox browser looks totally fake. What gives?
As I said, the browser is an obvious alpha, so I’m sure the interface at this point is more “Try and see what works” than an actual finished interface. The browser itself looks odd, but putting the forward and back arrows would be pointless, since you can’t push them or interact with them, and you don’t need the visual clue.
How do you start up Firefox PSP? What option is it under?
Actually, if a memory stick formatted to run Firefox is in the PSP, it starts automatically when the PSP is turned on. My friend said that Firefox is installed via a special application, and once installed on the memory stick, you can only (for now) use that stick for Firefox. The reason is that there is no proper interface for getting to Firefox / exiting to the PSP main menu at this point. My guess is the reason is because there is no good place to get to it from the main menu at this point.
By the way, thanks to http://gomorning.com/psp/itunespsp/ for writing me the “primary” text.
And by the way (2), this is FAKE.

uh. just look at the tags on this baby!
“Tags: firefox, fake, fun, photoshop”
Also, when you’re photoshopping, remember
1) Resize the window to the native resolution of the PSP
2) Make sure the image is the native resolution of the PSP
3) Make sure you change the scrollbars from the windows XP style
4) People will just hate you for this, it’s not cool. It’s just stupid.
Yup. Fake. Totally. Pwned!
Just look at that first shot… see how crappily the pic was placed on the PSP? :/ White border? Suuure.
And not even properly aligned… You suck at photo-editing.
